Step into our World...

Within certain parameters, we are able to customize each and every safari to fit the individual client’s needs, providing various options of accommodations available in or within close proximity to the hunting areas.

Old East Africa-style tented camps, or luxurious lodges, whether a family holiday, a corporate outing, or a group of decided gentlemen, we can offer the full African experience.

Full 3-course meals, comfortable lodgings, daily laundry service, and a welcoming lapa with cold beverages and relaxing atmosphere around the campfire are par for the course after a long days hunting to relive the new adventures experienced.

With family groups, we can accommodate the observers with parallel photographic or adventure safaris and a variety of day activities that can be organised within the surroundings.

The name “Caprivi” installs a sense of nostalgia amongst the hunters that have explored it. In total contrast to the rest of Namibia, the Caprivi is a relatively flat, sub-tropical area sandwiched between 3 major river systems, interlacing the region with marshy swamps, floodplains, and dense savanah forests that are home to large numbers of buffalo, elephant, hippo and a variety of plains game including waterbuck, red lechwe and reedbuck.

Hunting in this area involves moving through communal villages and settlements to core wildlife areas looking for quarry, whilst the early morning and late evening boat rides are a photographers dream come true.

Fishing for tiger-fish and Nembwe (green-bream) is conducted on the mighty Zambezi River and is a great way to wind down at the end of a trip. Day trips to the famous Victoria falls in Zimbabwe can be easily done from the Caprivi.

Hunting Safaris can be organised in the arid Western regions of Namibia in a variety of concessions and National Parks. The landscape is breath-taking, with near desert scenery, high flat-top mountains with interspaced rolling hills in the North, and scattered mountains and red sand dunes in the South, all teaming with wildlife in the ephemeral river systems that cross the arid plains.

Species to hunt include Leopard and Cheetah, Oryx, Springbok, Wildebeest, Hartmann's Mountain Zebra, Kudu, Steenbok, klipspringer, Spotted hyaena and the rare Black-faced Impala.

Hunting for Elephant and Lion can be arranged in these areas, but these are in high demand and need to be booked far in advance.

BHAS hunts on a variety of private ranches within all the regions of Namibia, both free-range and fenced, offering a large variety of options to both novice as well as seasoned African hunters.

We hand pick the areas suited to the individual requirements based on game density, species expectations, trophy quality, accommodation (with or without family) and service.

We will gladly shift area to find the best possible options as well, as per the hunters requests.

Hunting safaris are organised with reputable outfitters in the following countries, and we personally accompany and manage the hunt from the time the hunter arrives in camp till the trophies are on the wall, and everything in between.
